You tell ME what this looks like?

From the Communist Manifesto
10 Conditions For Transition To Communism

1. Abolition of property in land and application of all rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax. (IRS already in place)
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance. (inheritance laws are already in place)
4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels. (Eminent Domain laws already in place)
5. Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (The FED)
6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State. (The FCC Czar is working on this RIGHT NOW!)
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan. (Nationalization of GM, AIG, etc. and the Environmental Protection Agency {EPA})
8. Equal liability of all to labour. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture. (Obamanation wants Civilian Army for...)
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equal distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. (Already in place)
(copied straight from Wikipedia)

How close are we to this already?
8 out of 10 (not bad for a start)

What is it going to take for Obamanation to declare "a state of emergency" and bring down the FULL FORCE of the US government upon those of who will not go quietly into that dark night of the soul?

Persevere Brethren, We Know How It Ends

The people in Noah’s time were certain there was no "rain" coming. They continued on with their lives and in their sins despite Noah’s preaching who, they were convinced, was a fool. In their own eyes they were the ones who were wise, and here was this fool telling them about something that NO ONE had ever even heard of, something called "rain". Though Noah tried to share some 'inside information' that he had received from God, the people, and the powers that be, laughed.

The workers at the tower of Babel were confident that they were going to build a tower that would reach all the way to Heaven. They were certain of their goal and confident that they and Nimrod were going to make a name for themselves. They were certain that Nimrod was "the one." Nimrod held the reigns of power and in their own eyes they were wise. Anyone that would oppose them would be deemed a fool and crushed like a cockroach. The people, and the powers that be, would have laughed.

The people inside the walls of Jericho watched as the Israelites marched around their fortified city. The citizens of Jericho were certain they were safe and secure while the marchers wasted their time. Their walls were so thick and so sturdy that NO ONE had ever breached them. They had been built to the latest standards and they had used the best technology and engineering of the day in their construction. They were confident that those walls would never be breached by such a rag tag group as these Israelites. The people, and the powers that be, laughed.

Those at Calvary were convinced that the rabble-rouser had now been effectively dealt with. They even went so far as to secure the tomb lest His disciples steal His body and start a rumor. They were sure that this would be the end of this 'blasphemer' who had claimed to be the Messiah. He had received just what He deserved when He was publicly humiliated, stripped and beaten, mocked to derision and then CRUCIFIED like a common criminal! It went so well they patted themselves on the back when everything had gone exactly according to plan. The people, and the powers that be, laughed.

Over and over again the people, and the powers that be suffer from a misguided optimism. Completely self-assured, they continue in their schemes and plans never giving pause to consider that there might be Someone else that they need to factor into their thinking. So they march on, cocksure in their finite knowledge of the universe all the while oblivious to the Omniscient Truth. You see, He knows how it ends and because He knows those who will listen can know too and take heart.

The message of the cross is the ultimate message of HOPE! HOPE that we can truly believe in. For only in the cross will we find true HOPE and perseverance. Perseverance powerful enough to see us through the struggles and heartaches that we face, and that we will face in this life. For this is our hope on that Great Day when we come face to face with our LORD after having met every challenge that Satan and his servants have thrown at us we will hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your LORD." Matt 25:23 (NKJV)

So persevere brethren for we know how it ends. Let this HOPE sustain you during the good times and strengthen you during the bad times that I fear are coming upon us all. And more than this, let your perseverance be an instrument in leading others to Christ. For though the people, and the powers that be may laugh, it is God who ALWAYS laughs last! May you laugh with Him, for it may be sooner than you think!

ARE WE TOO LATE?

As I watched this man speak I realized that he could have been reading today's news headlines.

It has already begun! The question is are we too late to stop it? Has America Been 'demoralized' to the point to where she will simply roll over and accept her rape and murder? Or are there enough patriots left to make a stand?

PS Christians Beware! If you think for ONE MOMENT that these people will allow you to remain free to teach your children what you want, to worship God in spirit and in truth as your conscience dictates, you had better THINK AGAIN!

Now I Understand Why You Can't Change A Liberal Mind

I never understood why you can't get a 'liberal' to change their mind even when faced with irrefutable evidence. After watching this interview of a former KGB agent I FINALLY GET IT! If you watch it, you will too.

I'm still trying to process this and what it means to the future of this nation and the world.

It's a disgrace that Mr. Holdren is even on the council. In "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment," a book he co-authored in 1977 with noted doomsayers Paul R. and Anne H. Erlich, Mr. Holdren wrote: "Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society."

How can one even consider "laws requiring compulsory abortion" under ANY circumstance? This is the epitome of EVIL. This is the kind of people Obama has chosen to place in positions of power, i.e. the "Czars."

Obama: A Bald Faced Liar!

Obama is telling the American people a bald face lie when he says that, "Nobody is talking about some government take over of Health Care." and he knows it!

Those who watch the TV show "Lie to Me" know that there a is a disciplined study of determining when a person is telling a lie. These people study the involuntary subconscious physiological responses when a person is telling a lie (there are a few exceptions; those with pathological disorders are exempt for example). But the average person cannot tell lies without this physiological response. It usually involves an involuntary twitch of facial muscles, often in the eyes, just as the word or phrase that makes the statement untrue is spoken. This is why we instinctively want someone to look us in the eyes when we are speaking to them about something extremely important to us, so we can 'see' if they are telling us the truth. If they can't 'look us in the eye' when that say it then we probably won't trust what they are saying to be the truth.

Notice Obama's inability to look the camera in the eye as he utters the words that make his statements untrue.

Obama: 'We are God's Partners in Matters of Life and Death'

Pro-Obamacare groups launch "40 Days for Health Reform"
By Kathleen Gilbert

WASHINGTON, D.C., August 20, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A sudden shift towards religiously-charged rhetoric in President Obama's stumping for health care reform continued yesterday in a telephone conference, in which the president said that "we are God's partners in matters of life and death."

Obama told the virtual gathering of Jewish rabbis - as many as 1000, according to the Washington Jewish Week news service - that he was "going to need your help in accomplishing necessary reform."

Washington, D.C. Rabbi Jack Moline posted some of the president's statements in a series of live tweets, which went viral on the Internet before Moline deleted almost all the posts hours later. A handful of other Jewish clerics tweeted the event, which was not publicized by the White House.

In a conference call with largely left-leaning faith leaders yesterday, Obama also used religously-charged terms to dismiss the notion that the government would fund abortion through the new legislation.

"These are all fabrications that have been put out there in order to discourage people from meeting what I consider to be a core ethical and moral obligation - and that is that we look out for one another, that I am my brother's keeper and I am my sister's keeper," he said. He also accused opponents of his healthcare plan of spreading "misinformation" and "bearing false witness."

Pro-life leaders immediately blasted the president for the comment, pointing out that the House version of the bill now explicitly calls for the funding of abortion in the government plan, as well as taxpayer subsidies of plans that cover abortions.

The social justice groups sponsoring the conference claim that 140,000 individuals attended the call. The same groups - PICO National Network, Sojourners, Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, Faith in Public Life, and Faithful America - are now hosting a "40 Days for Health Reform" campaign to tell lawmakers "that quality, affordable healthcare is a moral issue for people of faith."

The site's attitude toward the arguments opposing the health care overhaul is remarkably similar to the White House's own "Reality Check" Internet campaign. Visitors are encouraged to sign a petition that reads: "As a person of faith, I support health care reform, and I'm tired of shouting, disruptions and distortions preventing an honest debate. Over the next 40 days, I commit to doing my part as a person of faith to promote health care reform. I commit to taking actions like writing my representatives, attending events, and telling my friends about our efforts to make the faith community a positive force for health care reform."

40 Days for Life, an international movement encouraging prayer, fasting and advocacy for the end of abortion that has exploded in popularity in recent years, accused the health reform campaign of mimicking its pro-life counterpart, but with the opposite result.

"Who would have ever believed that the President of the United States would copy a page out of the 40 Days for Life playbook as a way to push abortion?" mused 40 Days for Life national director David Bereit in an email to members. In Judaeo-Christian tradition, forty days is a spiritually significant length of time, often dedicated to sustained prayer and purification.

Meanwhile, strong warnings against the legislation in its current form have gone out from faith groups that oppose the killing of the unborn, including the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Focus on the Family, the Catholic Medical Association, the Christian Medical and Dental Association, and the Southern Baptist Convention. While many of the groups express eagerness for genuine health care reform, they say that the current bill would amount to a vast expansion of abortion, among other troubling aspects, and therefore should not be accepted.

Christians Reviving America's Values president Don Swarthout questioned the President's apparent moralizing in favor of his own health care reform plans.

"I thought the use of religion in order to convince the people to follow anything political was prohibited by the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings," said Christians Reviving America's Values president Don Swarthout in a statement. "Now the President of the United States is using religion to convince people to follow his political position."

He continued: "As a Pastor I may understand the Bible a little better than the average person. Apparently, the President thinks the Bible says government should help the poor instead of the Bible calling upon Christians to give to the poor.

"The truth is our very salvation may depend upon helping those in need. However, there is no place in the Bible which tells us that the government is supposed to do these things for us."

What ever happened to the ACLU wanting to keep the separation of church and state? Isn't this EXACTLY the kind of stuff that they hue and cry about? Do you hear that....? (It's the sound of crickets)

Obama the Messiah?

Friday, July 18, 2008
"I have thrown myself into a new world—one in which fluffy chatter and frivolous praise are replaced by disciple-like devotion ..."

Barack Obama must be elected President of the United States. It’s his worldview, his clarity of judgment, and his just plain right-mindedness that resonate with me. Figuring that my efforts were best spent raising money for the campaign, I have thrown myself into a new world—one in which fluffy chatter and frivolous praise are replaced by a get-to-the-point directness and disciple-like devotion. It’s intense and intoxicating. ...

... I have to confess I felt a certain shame that the dress I wore—a bright-red Prada number from next season that my former boss, Carol, insisted I buy the day before—cost more than the $1,000 ticket to the event itself. ... How this paid off I’ll share in a moment. ...

I was on my feet as Senator Obama entered the room. Fate had blessed me in this moment, as I realized that the aisle that was keeping me from my seat was created for him and his secret service escort to make their way to the stage. Within seconds, he was a few feet from me. Cameras were flashing, everyone was cheering, and I knew this was my moment. I pushed my way up to the barricade as he shook hands with as many people as time would allow. I squeezed up front, but Obama was moving quickly and just passed me by. Then, in a moment of divine intervention, he saw me, clad in my red stop-sign of a dress, back-tracked ever so slightly in his procession, grabbed my hand, and gave that brilliant smile of his. I literally said out loud to the woman next to me who witnessed my good fate, "I’ll never wash this hand again."

The Death Book for Veterans

by JIM TOWEY for The Wall Street Journal, AUGUST 18, 2009, 7:12 P.M. ET

If President Obama wants to better understand why America's discomfort with end-of-life discussions threatens to derail his health-care reform, he might begin with his own Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). He will quickly discover how government bureaucrats are greasing the slippery slope that can start with cost containment but quickly become a systematic denial of care.

Last year, bureaucrats at the VA's National Center for Ethics in Health Care advocated a 52-page end-of-life planning document, "Your Life, Your Choices." It was first published in 1997 and later promoted as the VA's preferred living will throughout its vast network of hospitals and nursing homes. After the Bush White House took a look at how this document was treating complex health and moral issues, the VA suspended its use. Unfortunately, under President Obama, the VA has now resuscitated "Your Life, Your Choices."

Who is the primary author of this workbook? Dr. Robert Pearlman, chief of ethics evaluation for the center, a man who in 1996 advocated for physician-assisted suicide in Vacco v. Quill before the U.S. Supreme Court and is known for his support of health-care rationing.

"Your Life, Your Choices" presents end-of-life choices in a way aimed at steering users toward predetermined conclusions, much like a political "push poll." For example, a worksheet on page 21 lists various scenarios and asks users to then decide whether their own life would be "not worth living."

The circumstances listed include ones common among the elderly and disabled: living in a nursing home, being in a wheelchair and not being able to "shake the blues." There is a section which provocatively asks, "Have you ever heard anyone say, 'If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug'?" There also are guilt-inducing scenarios such as "I can no longer contribute to my family's well being," "I am a severe financial burden on my family" and that the vet's situation "causes severe emotional burden for my family."

When the government can steer vulnerable individuals to conclude for themselves that life is not worth living, who needs a death panel?

One can only imagine a soldier surviving the war in Iraq and returning without all of his limbs only to encounter a veteran's health-care system that seems intent on his surrender.

I was not surprised to learn that the VA panel of experts that sought to update "Your Life, Your Choices" between 2007-2008 did not include any representatives of faith groups or disability rights advocates. And as you might guess, only one organization was listed in the new version as a resource on advance directives: the Hemlock Society (now euphemistically known as "Compassion and Choices").

This hurry-up-and-die message is clear and unconscionable. Worse, a July 2009 VA directive instructs its primary care physicians to raise advance care planning with all VA patients and to refer them to "Your Life, Your Choices." Not just those of advanced age and debilitated condition—all patients. America's 24 million veterans deserve better.

Many years ago I created an advance care planning document called "Five Wishes" that is today the most widely used living will in America, with 13 million copies in national circulation. Unlike the VA's document, this one does not contain the standard bias to withdraw or withhold medical care. It meets the legal requirements of at least 43 states, and it runs exactly 12 pages.

After a decade of observing end-of-life discussions, I can attest to the great fear that many patients have, particularly those with few family members and financial resources. I lived and worked in an AIDS home in the mid-1980s and saw first-hand how the dying wanted more than health care—they wanted someone to care.

If President Obama is sincere in stating that he is not trying to cut costs by pressuring the disabled to forgo critical care, one good way to show that commitment is to walk two blocks from the Oval Office and pull the plug on "Your Life, Your Choices." He should make sure in the future that VA decisions are guided by values that treat the lives of our veterans as gifts, not burdens.

Mr. Towey, president of Saint Vincent College, was director of the White House Office of Faith-Based Initiatives (2002-2006) and founder of the nonprofit Aging with Dignity.

s. Other (write in): □ □ □ □

Instructions To help others make sense out of your answers, think about the following questions and be sure to explain your answers to your loved ones and health care providers.

If you checked "worth living, but just barely" for more than one factor, would a combination of these factors make your life "not worth living?" If so, which factors?
If you checked "not worth living," does this mean that you would rather die than be kept alive?
If you checked "can't answer now," what information or people do you need to help you decide?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So, let me get this right, I should consider dying (by some means???) if I am a burden to my family; financially, or emotionally, can't shake the blues (being depressed is now a reason to die instead of taking medication), or I live in a nursing home?

Sure sounds like government sponsored euthanasia to me!!!

A different twist to an old joke

The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American History. Who said 'Give me Liberty, or give me Death'?"

She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Little Johnny, a bright Navajo Indian boy who had his hand up. "'Patrick Henry, 1775," he said.

"Very good!"

Who said, "Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?"

Again, no response except from Little Johnny, "Abraham Lincoln, 1863."

The teacher snapped at the class, "Class, you should be ashamed, Little Johnny knows more about history than you do."

She heard a loud whisper: "Screw the Indians."

"Who said that?" she demanded.

Little Johnny put his hand up, "General Custer, 1876 .."

At that point, a student in the back said, "I'm gonna puke."

The teacher glares around and asks, "All right! Now who said that!?"

Again, Little Johnny says, "George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991."

Now furious, someone said "You little brat. If you say anything else, I'll kill you."

Little Johnny frantically yells at the top of his voice, "Michael Jackson to the child witnesses testifying against him- 2004."

The teacher fainted.

And as the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said, "Oh no! We're screwed!"

Little Johnny said quietly, "The American people, November 4, 2008.

From Someone Who Actually Read The Entire Bill

I Read The Bill

by Tom Wacaster

I have listened with great interest and concern to the “pros” and “cons” of the impending health bill that has been drawn up by the House of Representatives. Few, if any, of our representatives have actually read the bill in its entirety. In contrast a growing number of concerned citizens have taken the time to download and examine this piece of legislation in detail. I downloaded HR3200, and have spent a total of slightly more than ten hours reading the bill, page by page, and line by line. I can confidently say that I have read the bill. Having said that, there are some observations I want to make relative to the Bill that is presently underway in the very halls of our Congress.

Before addressing what is actually IN the bill, I want to address a mistake that many are making relative to an honest, but mislead attempt to discredit this bill. The internet is a source of much “misinformation.” I have received emails saying that the bill will demand abortion if a family has more than two children and the wife becomes pregnant - a scenario similar to China's forced abortion laws. Another email has stated that this bill includes a provision whereby teen age girls will be injected with some kind of a sterility pill and removed later in adult life only when she agrees to the government's law concerning birth, child rearing, etc. I have read of no such provisions in HR3200. All such emails that misrepresent HR3200 only make our attempt to discredit this bill look foolish, and makes honest and concerned individuals appear to be ill-informed at best, and radicals at worst. There is enough in this bill to discredit it based on its own “merits” (I use that word to refer to provisions within the bill that make it a horrible piece of legislation).

One more note and then I'll share with you just two or three reasons why every child of God, and citizen of these United States should do all within their power to defeat this bill, and anything like it. I think it important to make a distinction between what this Bill SAYS and what it implies; or in other words, what the Bill states in so many words vs. the authority within those words to enact provisions that are contrary to the very foundation of this country, and which would place in position the means by which the Government could run roughshod over the principles and precepts contained in God's word. If this were purely a health bill, addressing a reform of our health system, I would never have taken the time to read it in such detail. But in my estimation it is a coordinated effort to infringe upon our God-given rights and responsibilities. Consider if you will the following.

First, there is the issue of respect for life, whether at conception, or in the closing days of one's life. I am speaking of abortion and euthanasia. Keep in mind that what is “implied” in this Bill is just as important as what the Bill specifically says. On page 230, Lines 8-19 the Bill states:

IN GENERAL.-The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall analyze payments for non-therapy ancillary services under a future skilled nursing facility classification system to ensure the accuracy of payment for non-therapy ancillary services. Such analysis shall consider use of appropriate indicators which may include age, physical and mental status, ability to perform activities of daily living, prior nursing home stay, broad RUG category, and a proxy for length of stay.

The language gives the Government of the United States the authority to determine whether payment should be made to extend the life of someone who may have reached a predetermined age, physical state, or mental status that the Government deems too costly for treatment. While the Bill does NOT say that anyone past a certain age will NOT be given adequate treatment, it implies it in this provision in the Bill. Once this provision becomes a part of law, it is only a matter of time for the next small incremental step to be taken whereby the Government decides who shall live, or who shall die.

The other end of the life cycle is also under attack in this Bill. There are two provisions in this Bill that should concern every God-fearing citizen of our country. The first has to do with the Government's authority to regulate pregnancies. Page 767, Lines 21-24, and continued on page 768, lines 1-5 read as follows:

The term ‘nurse home visitation services’ means home visits by trained nurses to families with a first-time pregnant woman, or a child (under 2 years of age) who is eligible for medical assistance under this title to the extent determined by the Secretary based upon evidence, that such services are effective in one or more of the following: (1) Improving maternal or child health and pregnancy outcomes or increasing birth intervals between pregnancies.

This provision grants the Government “as determined by the Secretary” the power to come into your home and evaluate the means by which they might improve the maternal or child health, with specific reference to the “outcomes” (note the plural language here) and/or intervals between pregnancies. Please note the language carefully. The only legitimate, God-authorized “outcome” of a pregnancy is BIRTH. The only other outcome would be abortion. In addition, the Government is going to tell the God-fearing family when they can or cannot have children. And, with any other Government “Bill” or “Law” there will be penalties attached to the disregard for those laws.

But there is more in this Bill to support and promote abortion. On page 783, Line 7 provisions are made for the Government financing of “free birth center services.” The words are carefully chosen so as to make one think that we are talking about hospitals where provisions are made for births to take place. But watch carefully the language in the lines to follow - and please note the possible interpretation of that provision if so deemed appropriate by the Government. I have placed my interpretation of these possibilities in brackets:

The term ‘freestanding birth center services’ means services furnished to an individual at a freestanding birth center [i.e. abortion clinics, TW] (as defined in subparagraph (B)), including by a licensed birth attendant [abortionist, TW] (as defined in subparagraph (C)) at such center. (B) The term ‘freestanding birth center’ means a health facility- (i) that is not [emphasis mine, TW] a hospital; and (ii) where childbirth is planned to occur away from the pregnant woman's residence [a teenagers doctor or parents, TW] The term ‘licensed birth attendant’ means an individual who is licensed or registered by the State involved to provide health care [abortions, even to late term, TW] at childbirth and who provides such care within the scope of practice under which the individual is legally authorized [by Roe Vs. Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973, TW] to perform such care [abortions, TW] under State law (or the State regulatory mechanism provided by State law), regardless of whether the individual is under the supervision of, or associated with, a physician or other health care provider [the patients regular doctor or parents, TW].

There is one more provision in HR3200 that should concern us, especially those of us who are attempting to raise our children in a Godly manner. On page 837, Lines 1-5 we are introduced to Sec. 1903: GRANTS TO STATES FOR QUALITY HOME VISITATION PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND FAMILIES EXPECTING CHILDREN. On the same page, Lines 13-17 we have the following provision:

PURPOSE.-The purpose of this section is to improve the well-being, health, and development of children by enabling the establishment and expansion of high quality programs providing voluntary home visitation for families with young children and families expecting children

In other words, HR3200 gives the Government the authority to come into your home and tell you how to raise your children. Interpreted, the “well being” of your child includes indoctrination in evolutionary thinking, humanism, and Godless indoctrination.

Should HR3200 pass the House and Senate, every child of God is going to find himself at odds, once again, with an ever encroaching Government that is determined to undermine every attempt on your part to live a Godly life. There are a number of other reasons why I simply cannot support this Bill, but in this article I am concerned about the impact it is going to have on our service to God. Take action; be informed.

A Deafening Silence

I am appalled by the deafening silence of so many of my Christian friends and their behaving, from all I can see, as little more than ostriches burying their heads in the sand pretending that there is no real danger in the current Health Care Bill crisis or their wishing that it will simply go away. I must confess, I find this response absolutely stupefying!

I know that there are those, some of whom I had as professors in college, who say that the separation of church and state must be respected, and that for Christians to speak out or get involved in secular affairs is inappropriate. These folks are quick to quote,

“Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men-- 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.” (1 Peter 2:13-17, NKJV)

And thereby beat our brethren into passivity despite the horrors that may be taking place right before their eyes.

Consider the following: Slavery in the United States of America. There were those who preached that this was the law of the land and therefore should and must be supported by every law abiding citizen, especially every faithful Christian. Yet with the luxury of twenty-twenty hindsight I seriously doubt that anyone would preach this message from the pulpit today. Slavery is virtually universally seen as an archaic and barbaric practice that was justifiably condemned to the ash heap of history. I would make the assertion that there could have been hundreds of thousands of lives spared had Christians in America universally condemned the practice before there was a civil war to decide the matter. It is to our great shame and an immortal wound that we didn’t have a William Wilberforce in our nation to guide us through the dangerous straights of such a morally charged issue. Christians then, as Christians now were members of the citizenry and subject to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of citizenship including their votes.

Consider the issue of Neo-fascism in Germany in the early 1930s, i.e. the Nazi Party. There were those German Christians who said that is not our business to be involved in politics. There must be a separation of church and state. The Nazis are not really all that dangerous, and in any case they can be controlled by the checks and balances in our secular political system. Yet with the luxury of twenty-twenty hindsight I seriously doubt that anyone who is not an extremist would adopt this attitude today. Nazism too is virtually universally seen as an archaic and barbaric philosophy (born from Darwinian evolution's "survival of the fittest" for society's benefit) which has been justifiably condemned to the ash heap of history. Could the Christian citizens of Germany in the 1930s have stood up with one voice to condemn Hitler and his cronies before they became so powerful that no one could stop them? Or is it justifiable for them to say that they were just being good citizens; they were just being good party members? Or were Christians then, as Christians now members of the citizenry and subject to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of citizenship including accountability for their votes, their voices or their silence?

On January 22, 1973 when the United States Supreme Court handed down its verdict on the landmark case of Roe vs. Wade the virtual silence from Christians in the churches of Christ was deafening. Were we too busy to be bothered so we remained ignorant of the debate occurring all around us? Or were we too busy trying to find the speck in our brother’s eyes? Whatever the case, abortion was generally seen as a personal issue and best left to the politicians to sort it out. Now, some 36 years and 47,691,288 abortions later (using the most conservative estimates) any Christian who knows what goes on inside the womb when a fetus is aborted (If you don’t know is it because you don’t want to know?) cannot possibly defend it. We as a nation are now guilty of more murders than Hitler and Stalin combined! If not for our local Moloch in the guise of the hospital incinerator our streets would run red with blood. I would remind you that God says: “These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,” (Prov 6:16-17, NKJV). Are Christians then, as Christians now members of the citizenry and subject to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of citizenship including accountability for our votes, our voices or our silence?

Consider the issue currently facing our nation in the form of governmental takeover and control of the Health Care System in this country. The current administration is driven by an ideology of death. The overriding philosophy is that of population control. They hold to the firm conviction that there are too many people on the planet, too many Americans and developed nations consuming too many resources making a huge a carbon footprint that must be shrunk at any cost, including the elimination of those deemed expendable. They are seeking the ultimate solution.

This began in earnest in the late 1960s and 1970s and is documented in the book, Fatal Misconception: The Struggle to Control World Population, by Matthew Connelly. Connelly documents how the somewhat successful practices of non-coercive means of population control in the United States and Western Europe of making children more expensive of ending tax breaks for families with children, of encouraging women to work outside the home and promoting the widespread distribution and use of contraceptives were conceived and implemented. All the political jargon about “a women’s right to choose” was the means, not the ends. The end was fewer people on the planet.

In the Third World more vigorous methods were used after 1968 when it was deemed that voluntary methods were not getting the job done. In Bangladesh aid workers denied food to poor women who refused sterilization. In India during Indira Gandhi’s administration millions of women were forcibly sterilized. In Mexico and Peru hundreds of thousands of women were forced to choose between no treatment at medical clinics and forced sterilization. In Africa clinics, to this very day, lacked antibiotics but were full of contraceptives. And of course, everyone knows about China’s one child policy, a policy that has now led to a shortage of brides for all the young men coming of age. (Note: Historically, when nations have too many young men and not enough resources for them they go to war to acquire those resources.)

In the current administration Dr. Ezekiel J Emanuel, brother of President Obama's Chief of Staff, and "Special Advisor for Health Policy" continues to seek a means of implementing an ultimate solution for population control in his defense of the “Complete Lives System” philosophy. John Holdren is the administration’s “Science Czar.” Holdren co-wrote Ecoscience with Paul Ehrlich a book that advocates wholesale sterilization of unwitting populations and offers suggestions for means by which it may be accomplished. These are the thoughts and philosophies that dominate the current administration. These are the philosophies behind the current Health Care Bill and any other version of the Health Care Bill to come across the President’s desk. Is it really necessary for me to put the dots any closer together? Can you not see the writing on the wall? Are Christians now, as Christians then members of the citizenry and subject to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities of citizenship including accountability for our votes, our voices or our silence?

Edmund Burke once famously said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Which begs the question: If men witness the triumph of evil and do nothing, are they good men? Are they good Christians?

READ THIS IF NOTHING ELSE!!! -- Health Care Bill

I have recently written emails concerning the Health Care Bill currently before Congress. I have only received two responses one positive and one threatening to report me (Can you imagine this happening in America, someone threatening to report a fellow citizen for disagreeing with their political beliefs? See:Fishy).

I have been concerned that Americans believed that they were either too busy to be bothered by all this hullabaloo over the Health Care Bill, or that they thought people like me to be some kind of Chicken Little proclaiming “the sky is falling.” Or worse yet that they agreed with the President and his minions on their Complete Lives System philosophy regarding health care in the United States of America.

Given the reaction in the Town Hall meetings across the country I no longer believe this to be true. But we have a long way to go before we defeat this boondoggle being rammed down our throats by very powerful forces aimed at complete revolution and restructuring of our nation from one of an American Republic to the Socialist States of America.

The American people are being sold a bill of goods via a Propaganda Campaign that would have made Joseph Goebbels proud. We are literally being asked to ‘drink the Kool-Aid’ of this Health Care Bill which is in reality an implementation of a social engineering policy to rid the system of those are deemed an unnecessary burden.

Dr. Ezekiel J Emanuel, brother of President Obama's Chief of Staff, and "Special Advisor for Health Policy" to the president presents a detailed proposal of how this allocation should be done.

He believes that a two-tier system is ethically acceptable and he wrote the following in an article in Lancet (a leading medical journal) in 1996:...
"The fundamental challenge to theories of distributive justice for health care is to develop a principled mechanism for defining what fragment of the vast universe of technically available, effective medical care services is basic and will be guaranteed socially and what services are discretionary and will not be guaranteed socially. Such an approach accepts a two-tiered health system-some citizens will receive only basic services while others will receive both basic and some discretionary health services. Within the discretionary tier, some citizens will receive few discretionary services, other richer citizens will receive almost all of available services, creating a multiple-tiered system."

Translation: If you are rich enough to buy your health care, buy it. But if you one of the common people you will have your care rationed so as not to be a burden to the system. Those who are young, OUR CHILDREN and those who are old, OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS will be LAST in line to receive the care they need!

Note the Chart below reflecting the Complete Lives System philosophy. I have nicknamed it “the dead elephant” due to its shape.

Using this philosophy one can justify providing care to a 20 year old illegal alien and deny that same life saving care to a 65 year old Congressional Medal of Honor recipient or watch a new born infant die from pyloric stenosis (requiring a simple surgery).

There is a line in the movie Doctor Zhivago (from a Russian novel by Boris Pasternak) when Dr. Yuri Zhivago is faced with a young officer in the Red Army whom he once knew but had since become ‘political’ where he says to him, “You are an idealist and I’m frightened by idealists.” I did not understand his meaning as a young man but as I’ve grown older I’ve come to understand his meaning. Karl Marx was an idealist, Lenin was an idealist, Hitler was an idealist, Mao was an idealist, Pol Pot was an idealist. Idealist scare me too, because in their attempts to create a heaven on earth they create a living hell for the rest of us!

Barak Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid et. al are idealists. Idealists scare me.

So, I am writing this blog in an attempt to inform and hopefully motivate you, my fellow citizens to action and get involved if you are not already and to keep up the good fight if you are already engaged. If we do then maybe, just maybe we have a chance to stop this culture of death from becoming the law of the land. If not, when you stand at your mother’s, or your child’s bedside and watch them die from a completely preventable condition left untreated due to the rationed care looming in our future; remember we told you so!
