of that 2%, CO2 is only 4%:
of that 4% humans cause only 4%!

"Green" is the new "Red" plain and simple! These folks have taken the eco-movement and turned it on its head and made it a quasi-religion! It is now a relgio-ecio-socio-marxist movement all wrapped up into one neat little package. For those who can ACTUALLY THINK research the geologic evidence of the correlation between the increase of sun spots directly corresponding to the increase in the earth's temperature and the decrease when the sun spots decrease. Nothing to do with man, just the ecology of the planet. But you can't get some people to ACTUALLY THINK and have a reasonable conversation about it.

March 10, 2009 (EIRNS)—Yesterday, Dr. Arthur Robinson, Director of the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine and the originator of the petition against Al Gore's global warming hoax which as of now 32,000 scientists have signed, told the 2nd International Conference on Climate Change, that the people like Al Gore who promote global warming alarmism are committing genocide by the withdrawal of technology from the developing world. Speaking at the conference hosted by the Heartland Institute in New York City, he said, "there is a current example of genocide by the removal of technology, and that is the ban on DDT, and that has resulted in the deaths of 30 to 40 million people and has left half a billion infected with malaria."


Lindzen and other speakers noted that "the global mean temperature anomaly has not increased statistically significantly since at least 1995," adding that this does not disprove the warming thesis, but that "for the public this fact is likely to be crucial."

In his presentation to the conference, Lord Christopher Monckton used ridicule and humor in his attack on the genocidal fraud of global warming. Monckton said, "that the global warming alarmists should be referred to as bedwetters."

He called Al Gore's science advisor, James Hansen, the Dr. Strangelove of NASA, saying, "that Hansen's big scare of sea level rise of 426 feet was too preposterous to be believed and that the only threat from sea-level rise is the one being created by the bedwetters."

Monckton said, "There never was a climate crisis, there is not a climate crisis, and there will be no climate crisis. Since there is no climate crisis, the leaders of the world must have the courage to do nothing."

Monckton said that there is no climate crisis, and told the conference that the environmental movement has gone too far. "The environmental movement has to be outlawed, because their policies have murdered 40 million people, mainly children, with the ban on DDT." He added, "They have caused mass starvation and food riots with their nonsensical drive for bio-fuels. The forces of darkness in the environmental movement want create a new dark age in which humanity is pushed back to the Stone Age and without the right to light a fire."

Politicians treat voters like children on this issue offering two options:

Cap and Trade or Carbon Tax.

What about the third way - listen to the science? It's the sun, stupid.

There is no experimental evidence to support CO2 and AGW, or we'd have seen it. The house of cards was built decades ago and all the derivative 'research' since then has no scientific foundation.

Moreover, we have no practical alternative to hydrocarbons and we must leave the carbon economy in place. The problem however, is the leftie political/intellectual construct of "BIG OIL". The state of affairs, actually is that "REALLY BIG OIL", the national oil companies like Russia and Venezuela and all the rest of the inefficient and uncompetitive national oil companies (e.g., PEMEX) have driven prices through the roof by incompetence. It is fair to call these super giants “REALLY BIG OIL”. They sit on 93% of the resources and reserves. The US is suffering from NIMBY for certain, but gas in Europe is about $9.00 - $11.00 a gallon equivalent and rising for similar NIMBY reasons; unable to build refineries.

We are in for a fight. Most politicians know the truth about CO2 and are aware of the petition of 31,000 scientists who agree that CO2 is beneficial to life on the planet (Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine; released at the Washington Press Club), and that Kyoto would severely affect prosperity for the poor and those on fixed incomes. However, ‘real scientists with Ph.D.s’ (Doctor of Philosophy degrees) is not a constituency and that was an election year. Pols now cater to an humanist educated mass of humanity who are lured by demagogues and driven by fear or worst case fictional scenarios. Interestingly enough, politicians use politically correct subjects to coerce politically correct voters.
