When I wrote the previous post Why Qom Spells Doom I had not seen nor heard the Katie Couric interview with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Here Glenn Beck interviews Joel Rosenberg, producer and author of the film and book "Inside the Revolution" on Tuesday's "Glenn Beck Show" aired 9/29/2009.
What is the MOST disturbing part of the interview (at 6:50) is when it is revealed that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad states as a matter of fact in Katie Couric's interview that he "is in DIRECT communication with this Islamic messiah", i.e. "the 12th Imam."
What that means is we have the leader of a nation with nuclear bomb aspirations (how close is anybody's guess) who claims (with a straight face) that he speaks to a person who is living and breathing today who was born some 1000 years ago! If that is NOT the definition of insanity - PLEASE SOMEBODY tell me what is!
The Obama administration thinks that you can just sit down with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and have have a reasonable conversation.
News Flash: You can't have a reasonable conversation with someone who is insane, because by DEFINITION they do not have the capability to reason!

Ahmadinejad played Couric's game (not that I like/agree with his stances, i don't) but the interviews were not meant to be informative, just posturing / media jockeying
